Julie Hega is a French multidisciplinary artist working across opera, theatre, film, music, and visual art. After training as a cellist and singer at the Conservatory of Caen, she built a career that moves seamlessly between stage, screen, and gallery spaces.

She has performed with leading theatre makers and at major festivals across France, including the Festival d’Avignon and Théâtre de la Ville in Paris. She also develops her own projects exploring identity, memory, resilience, and transformation. Her artistic research in Cameroon inspired the installation-performance PINK RECITAL, while her acclaimed podcast series KINTSUGI – L’histoire de ma reconstruction, combined personal testimony with expert perspectives in a powerful exploration of healing and rebuilding.

As a visual artist and filmmaker, she has created works including MBOMBO REQUIEM, exhibited internationally in Cameroon, Dakar, and Paris, and directed her first film, PAYSAGE DE MA MORT. In 2026, she made her debut at the Metropolitan Opera in New York and recorded her first pop album.✨
